In July of this year, my fiancé and I purchased our first home! Yes...we were crazy enough to buy a home in this crazy housing market. But I was a little impatient and oh so ready to end apartment life. Especially with baby Maj. We had been house hunting for 6 months online, not really finding any home that stuck out to us. We went through two realtors that didn't really rub us the right way. In fact, I gave up on finding a home that would fit our standards near the end and started to look at builders. One day I was at my parents and scrolling like I normally do and this house caught my eye. This house had just been listed on the market 1 hour prior. We reached out to our current realtor who had every excuse in the world of why he could not schedule a viewing on the same day. I knew this house was not going to last long on the market and had to take matters into my own hands. Long story short, we viewed the home that afternoon with a different agent and placed an offer the same day. The moment we walked through the door we knew it was "ours". We waited for three days just for our realtor to tell us we were outbid and did not get the house. I was extremely discouraged and disappointed.
